Uniquely Made in Canada

You are the lucky recipient of a One Of A Kind gift!

Your friend or loved one decided to shop at the One Of A Kind Show. That is because handmade gifts are so much more personal and meaningful than store-bought items. When you give a gift from One Of A Kind makers, you are showing that you care about giving a quality, one-of-a-kind item that was made with care. All of our artisans put their heart and soul into their work, and it shows in every piece.

Enjoy your gift! It supports local artisans and small businesses. Each year, purchases at One Of A Kind events facilitate over $35 million in product sales for our vendors. We also raise more than $68,000 for charity through our Give Local Program. A gift from One Of A Kind not only supports the makers and their families, but also gives back to their community.

What is the One Of A Kind Show?

Since 1975, we have been providing a platform for small businesses to build their brands, expand their audiences and to sell direct to consumers. One Of A Kind organizes a Spring and a Winter show in Toronto, that draws participants from across Canada. Almost 1,000 artisans are represented at the shows and in our online Maker Directory. We provide access to makers—their wares and their stories—and facilitate this exchange of ideas and objects through our online communities and onsite events.

When people come to One Of A Kind, they are not simply buying a beautiful product, their purchases are also fueling the operation of small businesses, in turn contributing to the health of the local economy.

Maker Artistry Series with Sadie & June

Popularly known for their hand-embroidered heart maps which were born out of their belief that love knows no borders.
The classic and simple red heart boldly stands out on each map. The heart can carry many meanings: where you love, where you met your love, where your heart remains, etc. In 2017, they both made the decision to embroider their customers' unique stories full-time.
Just like the red heart, your story gets stitched into a special piece that is made to be a reminder of the places, people, and adventures you hold dear.
