What is One Of A Kind?
One Of A Kind is a platform for sales, exposure, business development and community-building for makers of all kinds. With our year-round digital platforms, and anchored by our two flagship events, we help creative small businesses chart their own path to success! One Of A Kind allows artists and makers to represent themselves and showcase their work to a loyal audience who appreciates the importance of supporting local and shopping small.
We put on two in-person events each year at the Enercare Centre in Toronto:
- The Winter Event takes place over 11 days each November – December. (Core Theme: holiday gift giving including an exclusive Original Art Gallery section)
- The Spring Show sees artisans gather for 5 days early each March - April. (Core Themes: self growth and self care)
Spring Applications Still Accepted!
The 2023 Spring Show applications are LIVE. If you are wondering whether you should apply, think no more. One Of A Kind offers a perfect platform to showcase your creations to a large community of shoppers who appreciate beautifully made objects by Canadian artisans.
What's different about the Spring Show?
The Spring Show is positioned to customers as an opportunity for self-actualization, with messages centred around self-care and renewal. This gives you an opportunity to showcase a wider range of products not just limited to gifting and winter/holiday. Over 99% of our repeat exhibitors who participated at the 2022 Spring Show said One Of A Kind is an important one for them compared to other shows.
Options for Exhibitors of All Sizes and Categories
The Spring Show is all about showcasing fresh new talent and exciting new products for the new year. So, we put a focus on creating special sections that will highlight different creative groups and collectives and support makers at any stage of their career.
INTRO BOOTH OPTIONS
Rising Stars. In this open-concept section, space is for first-time applicants with less than 5 years of professional experience in their art or craft. We supply the carpet, you bring a freestanding structure and lighting to showcase your work. Request space by the square foot, so you get as little or as much as you need - the minimum booth size is 9 square feet. Open to all categories except food.
Booth Share. Share a 10’ x 10’ booth (or larger, if requested) with a fellow artisan to help alleviate some of the challenges of your first shows, like costs, required stock, and booth sitting. Open to individual applicants looking to be paired with a buddy, depending on availability. Applicants are eligible for Booth Share at TWO Spring and TWO Winter Shows.
Marketplace. This popular tabletop marketplace is a great place to get your start at the show, without having to build a booth, and the close quarters of this section create a great sense of community among its freshman exhibitors. Marketplace is being sponsored by The Nooks at The 2023 One Of A Kind Spring Show. This exciting partnership provides subsidized participation for all Nookies, future Nookies, or any other fellow artisans!
For more information please see the One Of A Kind Marketplace Application.
Québec créatif. In partnership with Société de développment des enterprises cuturelles (SODEC), this section highlights 12 makers from the province of Québec, and provides guidance and financial support to them throughout their first One Of A Kind Show. Read More.

Nancy Martini Art
I'm Nancy Martini and I'm a fine artist. My work is bright, and colourful and full of texture. And none of that shows well online no matter how good the photo is. The One of a Kind Show was the venue that got my art in to people's homes. I did a happy dance (literally) every time someone decided they wanted to purchase. My neighboring booth exhibitors all created a little family with me, and we still connect with one another now. I can see myself exhibiting for the next 20 years at OOAK.
