WHAT TO SUBMIT
Below are the materials you’ll need to submit—they help our jury get to know your business and how we can succeed together. Show off your personality and attention to detail!
- BRAND AND CURATION PROCESS
Tells us about your brand. How do you source and assess products to ensure they meet your brand's standards for quality and alignment? - BOOTH DESIGN
Include a photo, sketch, inspiration board or rendering of your booth display. Your design should include plans for signage, lighting, merchandising and the structure of your booth. Your plans should also consider how your booth will tell your brand story. Not Sure Where to Start? Read more about booth design considerations below. - PRODUCT TYPES & PRICE LIST
List all the product types you plan to sell at the show with their prices (or price ranges). Make sure to represent each type of product you sell. - PHOTOS OF YOUR PRODUCTS (5-10 photos)
Submit 5-10 well-lit photos representing your products. These should showcase the variety of items you plan to sell at the show and highlight the style and identity of your brand.
**FOR REWORKED, RECYCLED, & EMBELLISHED CATEGORY ONLY**
- STEP-BY-STEP DESCRIPTION OF YOUR ALTERATION PROCESS
If you are in the reworked, recycled, and embellished category, each item you wish to sell at the show must be made by you or your company and fit within our production criteria. Walk us through your production process(es)--tell us how you design, where production takes place, how you are involved and when you are getting help. This information will not be shared with anyone outside of the jury. - STUDIO PHOTO
Show us where you make the magic happen--whether it's your studio, a maker space, or a dining room table! This image should give the jury a sense of your workspace.

What does the booth fee include?
The fee covers your booth space. Tables, chairs, rolling racks and other design elements are the responsibility of the vendor. To ensure each space is uniquely designed to meet the standards of the rest of the One Of A Kind Show, each applicant is required to include a booth drawing in your application so we understand how you will utilize your space.
Access to lighting and electricity is not included and must be coordinated with the venue. Lighting is mandatory.
Wi-fi is free and is available through the venue.
BOOTH DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
At One Of A Kind, your success is our priority—and a well-designed booth is one of the best ways to draw in customers and drive sales. Your booth should showcase your brand and serve as a strong sales tool.
To help you make the most of your space, please note that handwritten signs and grid walls are not permitted, and rummage bins are strongly discouraged.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
**FOR REWORKED, RECYCLED, & EMBELLISHED CATEGORY ONLY**
- You are the designer AND heavily involved in the production of your work. We are looking for makers of all kinds--from traditional to technological and creative to commercially driven. Our criteria for production and scale will differ for each category, so applications are considered case-by-case. Outline your production process(es) in detail, to show the jury your work aligns with our criteria. Beyond that, we are looking for work that is creative, innovative, cohesive, avoids saturated trends and is respectful of copyright law and other cultures.
- You Reside AND Produce Your Work in Canada. We want consumers to support the local creative economy and community, so every item for sale in the show must be made in Canada. Any manufacturing help must be locally sourced, but not all raw materials must be. Designing products and having them produced internationally is NOT something we permit.
- Your Work Stands Out. In addition to the above, we are looking for creative, unique, innovative, and cohesive. Work that avoids saturated trends and respects copyright law and other cultures.

WHAT WILL MAKE MY APPLICATION STAND OUT?
Applications for the Vintage Section are reviewed by a dedicated selection committee who will be looking for vendors that align with the curated, high-quality spirit of the One Of A Kind experience. We assess applications based on several factors, including:
Quality and authenticity of your vintage pieces
A strong, cohesive aesthetic and point of view
Saleability and uniqueness of your offerings
A thoughtfully styled and visually appealing booth concept
Clean, well-composed application photos that show off your collection
Your ability to contribute to a diverse mix of categories and eras
We’re drawn to collections that are well-edited, visually compelling, and feel relevant to today’s design-minded shopper. We want to see how your offerings tell a story — whether that’s through era-specific styling, standout rare finds, or creative ways you rework and present vintage pieces.
Tell us your story. We love learning about your passion for vintage — how you source, why you collect, and what sets you apart. A personal, thoughtful application always stands out.
And a quick tip for those applying in popular categories (like vintage fashion or décor): be sure to highlight what makes your shop truly unique. With limited space and strong demand, a distinct voice and elevated presentation can make all the difference.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN CURATED?
This section is selectively curated to maintain a premium feel — an upscaled, boutique-style marketplace that aligns with the quality and creative spirit of our event. No rummage bins or mass-produced replicas here — only authentic, unique, and high-quality vintage pieces.
