One Of A Kind Community Leaders
The One Of A Kind Community Leaders Program recognizes experienced exhibitors who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping fellow makers succeed. Community Leaders play an important role in strengthening the One Of A Kind community by sharing their expertise and supporting other exhibitors before and during the shows. This is a one-year program, with participants taking part in both the Spring and Christmas Shows.

Community Leader Responsibilities
As a Community Leader, you will:
- Commit to a one-year term (2026 Christmas Show and 2027 Spring Market)
- Create a 1-3 minute educational video and short profile highlighting your area of expertise for the Exhibitor Kit. Both must be submitted by August 21, 2026
- Participate in virtual discussions and engage in the On My Way to OOAK Facebook group
- Attend the Community Leader Breakfast during each show and serve as a resource for fellow exhibitors during the show
- Lead a webinar open to all exhibitors, providing a brief overview of your area of expertise followed by a live Q&A session. Webinars will take place every Wednesday from September 9-30, 2026
Community Leader Benefits
In recognition of your contributions, you'll receive:
- $750 honorarium for completing the program
- $200 referral bonus for each successful exhibitor referral
- A featured profile in the Exhibitor Kit, including your website and social media channels
- A dedicated Instagram feature introducing this year's Community Leaders
- 50 complimentary show tickets (vs. the standard 10)
- Recognition as a trusted expert within the One Of A Kind exhibitor community
Key Dates
- August 7, 2026: Application deadline
- August 11, 2026: Selected Community Leaders will be notified (only successful candidates will be contacted)
- August 21, 2026: Deadline to submit your educational video and short profile
- September 9-30, 2026: Live webinars will take place every Wednesday
- April 5, 2027: End of Community Leader term
